'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,' part of the hugely successful 'Grand Theft Auto' video game series, introduces players to a sprawling, Los Angeles-like dystopia called San Andreas. The game was made for consoles, but inventive amateur programmers (or modders) have created an altered patch that allows players to take their game online and into a thriving multi-player community.
